Central Friars Celebrate with the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception Province

Central Province Friars recently joined the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception Province in Justice, Illinois, for their annual Family and Friends Picnic, honoring the friends and benefactors from their Rosary Hill Home nursing home.

The day began with Mass celebrated by Bishop Dan Turley, OSA, and concelebrated by our own Fr. Chris Saliga, OP (chaplain for the Sisters' nursing home), and Fr. Christopher Johnson, OP. There was also a bounce house and plenty of games including relay races, a water balloon toss, and a spirited tug-of-war between the children and adults.

It was a beautiful day spent in thanksgiving to God for the abundance of blessings he continues to shower upon the Sisters' ministry. May God continue to bless them in their loving dedication to the elderly.
