Before you submit this form, please make sure the pastor of your parish knows you are requesting this. It will take his approval to start the process.
While getting your parish enrolled in the Confraternity as standalone Rosary Society or Rosary Alter Society is not difficult, it can take some time. The process begins by having your pastor contact the provincial promoter of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. Once the Pastor requests a Society by erected at the Parish a letter is sent to the local Bishop who must give his permission. Once that is received, the Prior Provincial of the Central Dominican Province and his provincial council vote to approve the new Confraternity. The process can a few months.
