Why did you choose to join the Dominicans? ?
I didn’t have a vision. I also didn’t want to be a diocesan priest and have a parish in rural Iowa. I liked the diversity of ministries of the Jesuits and the sense of community of the Benedictines. Had cousins in both communities. Dominicans seemed to be the best of both worlds. So here I am. I also was ordained on December 4, 1971, six months ahead of my classmates. Long story there. Ask me about it sometime.
None. But I have become a book reviewer on Amazon because of my kindle.
